James has been involved with IT in both education and private markets for nearly 20 years across the Kansas City metro. Being driven to provide customer service and an all-inclusive IT solution, James began Heartland Macs in 2012 and has helped the company grow ever since.

A father to Ethan (a future Heartland Macs star), he enjoys golf, music and being a soccer enthusiast.

James is a firm believer in giving back to the community and has lead Heartland Macs in multiple giving campaigns across the metro.

Bob Poirier started with Heartland Macs in 2014, and has been in the tech industry for 20+ years. Bob’s experience includes working with home and business users, mainframe systems and enterprise environments. He enjoys working one-on-one with customers and helping them feel comfortable with their technology. Bob lives in Liberty with his wife and daughter and enjoys camping, gardening and landscaping.

Steve Martin joined Heartland Macs in August of 2018. Steve has been working in the Tech industry for over 14 years as a Technical Consultant. Steve specializes in hardware and software support for individuals and large companies. He enjoys watching companies thrive with new technologies. Steve was born and raised in the Kansas City Area and enjoys spending his free time on the lake when he can. 

Marvin joined Heartland Macs in June of 2021. He enjoys meeting new people, learning about new tech, and repairing hardware. He loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. Marvin is a basketball enthusiast who enjoys to play golf in his free time. Marvin was born in San Francisco and raised in the Kansas City area.

Anthony joined Heartland Macs in 2021. He’d been working in a Helpdesk role for 3 years prior to beginning with Heartland macs helping to make customers aware and comfortable with their tech. Now working with us, Anthony is carrying that same level of customer service to our customers.
